The Pink Sisters Chapel and Convent

Church

Tagaytay City is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the Philippines. With its view of the Taal Volcano, the world's smallest active volcano, it has truly become one of the must-visit places in the country.

Tagaytay is also known for its good climate all year round, and it boasts some of the best places where you can relax, dine, and spend some quality time with your family.

One of these places to visit in Tagaytay is the Pink Sisters Chapel and Convent. It is a peaceful place where people can find the time to reconnect with God and their spirituality.

About the Pink Sisters Chapel and Convent

The Adoration Chapel of the Pink Sisters is located in the Convent of Divine Mercy, which is one of the Catholic Monasteries in Tagaytay. This chapel was founded by the German priest Blessed Arnold Janssen to support by prayers and sacrifice the first two missionary foundations that he established.

While the nuns are often called 'Pink Sisters' because of their pink habit, they are officially part of the Sister Servants of the Holy Spirit of Perpetual Adoration. This institute of enclosed nuns follows a solemn vow to separate themselves from the outside world strictly.
The nuns are said to be offering prayers for the world 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so visitors can ask them for prayers. Inside the chapel, people can write their intentions or prayers and drop it on the box so the nuns can read it.

The chapel is open for masses every 6 AM on weekdays and 6 AM and 5:30 PM on weekends.
